Some Fish From The Dee

A 12lb Springer from Lower Blackhall caught in mid March by my good friend Charlie Robertson. The fish took a 1" Gold Willie Gunn from the Sheep Dip Pool.

A beauty of a salmon caught from Waterside & Ferrar on the 3rd June 2009 from the Waterside Pool. The fish took a size 10 Curries shrimp. I had actually just changed flies and was letting out some line just a few metres from my legs when the fish grabbed it and took off down the pool like a steam train! Quite a surprise I got, believe me!!!

11lb early morning July fish from Knappach. Caught by my Uncle. The fish took a small Cascade from the Birkenbaud pool.

More fish from 2010

A 34inch Hen Salmon from the Mill Pool at Cambus O May in mid August. The fish took a size 12 Calvin's Shrimp at the neck of the pool in the fast water. After a quick pic, like all the fish I catch it went back safely.

15lb Cock Salmon from the Manse Pool, River Don. The fish took a 1" Red Francis tube on a fast sink tip.

A 10lb back-end salmon from Cocker's Pool caught early October.

A lovely fresh run sea trout which took a fast stripped Sunray Shadow at Lower Fintray, River Don in June.
